The wireless access control system in a door handle. Yup, that’s right, in a door handle!

With property itself becoming increasing more expensive and maintenance costs ever rising it makes a lot of sense to protect your property and reduce future expenditure at the same time. Verstech have partnered with leading industry company Paxton to bring you the very best technology to make the security management of your property very simple and hassle free.

So how does it work?

Paxlock offers the same security and convenience as a wired access control system but with the additional flexibility of being wireless, meaning less cabling and therefore quick and simple installation for minimal disruption.

Do I still need a token and/or card?

Yes. They work the same as a wired access control system whereby tokens are issued to allow access through the controlled doors and are easily barred from the system if they are lost or stolen (even the cost of the key fobs and/or cards are cheaper than getting a physical key cut, without the inconvenience of a trip to the local cobblers).

Can it be used only on specific doors?

Of Course Not. PaxLock can be on a standalone door or as part of a full blown networked system spanning across the whole property. Paxlock offers you a versatile access control solution that can grow with your needs. Or even if you’re thinking of upgrading the security system you can do this bit by bit if you don’t want to full expenditure in one hit.

But why would I switch?

Installing an access control system means that you will never have to change a lock again and especially with internal doors they don’t usually have keys. You can also enhance your internal security

Don’t want the full cost up front? No problem, then over time simply add to your access system and retire the old one.

But I’m unsure if PaxLock, PaxLock Pro or Net2 Plus is most suitable?

Don’t forget you can use both together, with a single controller! There are multiple arguments for both approaches but the way we think about it is that if you want to enhance your internal security to restrict access i.e. HR offices, MD’s office, then Paxlock would be ideal.

However, if you wanted to fob in and out, interface with the lights or the lift, or the heating system then Net2 Plus has many more features to suit your requirements. Net2 Plus is more labour intensive and this makes it more expensive to install, but it does a lot more too!
